Privacy policy

DiffHunter is a Shopify application operated by T-Soft, KSÜ Avşar Kampüsü Teknokent, Bina No:259 T-Soft Kat:2 No:41, Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye. This policy explains what data the app processes when you install it on your Shopify store, why it is processed, and how long it is kept.

When you install the app, Shopify asks you to approve a set of permissions. Once approved we receive and store:

• Your store's .myshopify.com domain and store ID.
• An access token that lets the app call the Shopify API on your behalf.
• The store owner's name and contact email address, used to create your DiffHunter account.
• Store content covered by the approved permissions — product, collection and theme text, together with its SEO fields and URL handles.

To translate your content, the text you select is sent to a third-party machine translation provider and the result is written back to your store as a Shopify translation. Only the text being translated is transmitted; no customer records are included.

Original content is never overwritten — translations are stored alongside your source language, and any manual edit you make takes precedence over the machine output.

DiffHunter translates store content, not customer records. We do not use your customers' personal data for translation, profiling or marketing.

Shopify requires every app to respond to three mandatory privacy webhooks, and the app implements all three:

• customers/data_request — a customer asks what data an app holds about them.
• customers/redact — a customer asks to be erased.
• shop/redact — Shopify signals that a store's data must be erased, 48 hours after the app is uninstalled.

Data is stored on servers operated for the app and is retained while your store has the app installed. When you uninstall DiffHunter, your access token is invalidated and stored store data is deleted in response to the shop/redact webhook.

Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers needed to run the app — hosting, the machine translation provider, and the payment processor that handles billing — and only to the extent each of them needs it.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to support@diffhunter.com. Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin also starts the deletion process automatically.

If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, notify you through the app.
